Map It! Monday

Happy Monday Stampers!

This week's Map It! Monday challenge is a scrapbook page. As always I used My Digital Studio to make the map. The curvy piece piece in the back is one of the new digital downloads, #123996 Tasteful Trim 1 Punch. I love the Tasteful Trim Die for the Big Shot so I thought I would use it on this project as well.

You can make your project any size you want using what you have. I look forward to seeing your creations and featuring them here next week!

Don't forget to email me a photo of your finished project.

Map It! Monday

Hi Stampers!

I hope you all are keeping warm. Yes, it's Map It! Monday on Tuesday. My husband had the day off yesterday so I chose to take the day off as well.

You will notice that this layout it similar to last week's. I am stuck on this type of layering. You can do so much with it!

Don't forget to send me a photo so I can feature your masterpiece next week!!

Map It! Monday

Hello Stampers! I hope you all are keeping warm. I don't have an inspiration for last week's challenge to share with you as I actually just came up with it on my own just as I did for this one. Very simple, clean layout. You could add accessories to this but with a little faux stitching on the side, it's not necessary.

Remember to email me a photo of your finished piece so I can feature it next week!

Clear Stamp Case Storage

Happy Friday Stampers! I needed some additional storage and IKEA has these wonderful DVD shelves you can turn on end to look similar to mine in the photo above for only $5.95. Sad part is, my IKEA is about a 2 ½ drive and this particular item is not available for shipping. So I showed a photo of the IKEA shelf to my husband, being the handy man that he is, and asked him to make this for me. I thought I would share the dimensions here with you all just in case you were looking for something similar.

You will need 2 boards cut 37” and 2 boards cut 22 ¾ “ (give or take 1/8”)
3 boards cut 21” and 8 boards cut 8”. Simple yet functional design. The boards my husband used to make this measure 3 ½” x ¾ “. It’s a great way to store Stampin’ Up!’s Clear stamps.

I sort my stamps according to the categories in the Stampin Up! catalog so I made labels with those categories for each shelf. I also have a couple of extra sections for those categories that I tend to have more stamps.

If you have any questions, please contact me and I will try to answer them.

Good Evening Stampers! I wanted to show you the inspiration for Challenge 30 which was the last challenge I posted two weeks ago. I received this card in a swap from my upline, Gina Coffelt. I love Gina's work and can't wait to feature more of her items.

Map It! Monday

Hello Stampers and Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season! I took a couple of weeks off doing Christmas preparations and more importantly, spending time with my family. I had my grandsons with me while they were on Christmas break and we had a wonderful time!

Now it's back to business. I am very excited about 2011. I have some great goals in mind and maybe even a surprise or two over the next year. Check my list of events regularly so you will know what's coming up.

Here is the challenge for this week. I used a background stamp, taffeta ribbon, basic pearls and Designer Series Paper (DSP). Don't forget to scan or photograph your finished card and send it to me. I would love to feature your masterpiece on the site.
