March Card Class Card #1

Hi Stampers! I almost forgot to post the finished cards from card class this month. So I will begin today. I apologize for the bit of blurriness. I am still practicing on taking better photos of the finished card.


I love these spinner hands!! I hope they make it into the next Idea Book & Catalog.

Map It! Monday

Happy Monday Stampers! Whew...it's been a busy week in the Peterson household! I spent the weekend with my husband's business, Quad City Rain Barrels, at the Flower & Garden Show. Talk to hundreds, if not thousands of people. It's exhausting but something we both enjoying doing together.

I had a wonderful Spring Break with my grandbabies as well. The highlight of the week was when myself, their mommies, my cousin and the boys went to see the Titanic artifact exhibit at the Putnam Museum. If you ever have the opportunity to see it, I highly recomend it! It's amazing how the artifacts were preserved after all of those years in the cold saltwater.

Below you will see this weeks Map It! Monday challenge. It's a bit different. I have done it all in punches and embelishemtns. The way you make these punches is to punch a circle for example and then punch the center out with a small circle. You can do this with whatever punches you have on hand.

Remember to take a photo and send it to me please so I can feature you as a "guest designer"!

Map It Monday!

Happy Monday Stampers! There will not be a Map It! Monday challenge today. My grandsons are on Spring Break and I decided to take a Spring Break as well to spend some quality time with them. I did however want to leave something special for you all!

Here is my celebration into Spring card for you. I hope you enjoy it!

Happy Monday Stampers!

I hope you all remembered to Spring Forward and set your clocks! Okay, how many of you forgot? :) We had a wonderful weekend in the Peterson home. Ed and I had intended to stay home on Saturday and work all day but ran a few errands instead. We did get some work done in the afternoon. We both have vendor shows coming up and it seems never ending in the prep work for those. So glad we both love what we do!!

Sunday is always my favorite day of the weekend. Both of my daughters and their families always come home for a big Sunday dinner. There is no great joy in my life than spending time with my family! On occasion my brother joins us, but he was one of the ones who forgot to change his clocks.

I am looking forward to a wonderful week. So far, it doesn't disappoint....the sun is shining! We are headed for warmer temps and last week my tulips peeked up through the soil. Always a sign that Spring is near. I have missed it terribly!

On to this week's challenge. It's not my usual map as I have really wanted to play with these owls. They are just too stinkin' cute! If you don't have the owl punch, try using a circle, square or whatever punch you have. You can also just stamp an image and cut it to size so that you can fit 3 on the front of the card. Don't forget to take a picture and send it to me so I can feature you as my "guest" designer.

Map It! Monday!

Hi Stampers! No, you're not seeing things...It's Map It! Monday challenge on Tuesday. I got so busy working yesterday that I forgot to post. The upside is that I did get some work done so I guess that's a good thing.

Today's challenge is simple. You don't have to make it like the example, just use punches. This is a PUNCH challenge. Don't forget to send me a photo of your finished project so I can feature it here next week.
