Map It! Monday Challenge

Hello Stampers! No, you're not seeing things...it's Map It! Monday on Tuesday. I took the liberty of spending Labor Day with my family so I didn't get anything posted yesterday.

I hope you all had a great holiday weekend! I know I did. It is just a little sad though knowing it was also the end of summer. Of course that also means it's time to shift gears for the upcoming holiday season. That means a lot of fun times making cards and gifts for the holidays!! That's the best part, sharing what you love to do!

Okay. On to today's map. I am going to go back to basics in the way I make the maps. I'm going back to the what I originally started doing with just the basic map and neutral colors. I think I was throwing you all off a bit by showing you a completed sample. You never have to re-create exactly what I made to complete the challenge. I would like to see the masterpieces you make just using the layout on the map. So without further ado, here is today's map.

You can use what stamps and paper you have and different colors. The section that shows "stamped image" is just a layered piece. The sentiment piece is a punch. If you don't have a punch that will work there, then try using another layered piece in the shape of an oval, rectangle, etc. Some suggestions for the background pieces; you could use cardstock cut to that shape, designer series paper, or stamp a background image and cut it down to size. The little strips going across would be great in ribbon, designer series paper or cardstock. The possiblilities are endless!

I look forward to seeing what you create so don't forget to take a picture or a scan and email it to me.

Happy Stamping!
