Hello Stampers! I got so busy working on my Christmas cards last night I forgot to post my Map It! Monday challenge. I can't believe this already makes my 30th challenge. When I hit 50 I may just have to give away some blog candy. But for now, it's time for the challenge.

Dont forget to send me a picture of your finished card so I can feature it here next week!

Happy Stamping,

Good Evening Stampers! I just wanted to post a picture of my inspiration for last week's Map It! Monday challenge. This card was made for a swap by one of my sideline demonstrators, Cheryl Emminger. I love the simplicity of the design.

Map It! Monday Challenge

Happy Monday Stampers! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Our house was full of family so our day was truly blessed.

I hope you enjoy today's challenge. Once again, any colors you choose and for that matter, you don't have to use ribbon or the corner punch. You might just want to use a corner border punch and Designer Series Paper with ribbon or other embellishments. You could even change the stamped image to a photo and make this a scrapbook page. Make it your own!

Don't forget to email me photo of your completed project so I can post it here next week.

Happy Stamping!

Map It! Monday Challenge

Happy Monday Stampers!

I apologize for not posting a challenge last week. I was busy getting ready for a local craft fair that I participate in each year. It was the 6th and I had a great time! I took pictures of my table and everything that I made so I will try to get them posted this week.

So now on to this week's Map It! Monday challenge. This week the card map is all about punches. Use what punches you have, they don't have to be the same ones I have used on the map.

Don't forget to take a picture or a scan and email it to me so I can feature it next week!

Map It! Monday Challenge

Hello Stampers! It's time for the Map It! Monday challenge. Instead of a card today, I am doing a scrap map. Do whatever size you like using the layout below. I look forward to seeing what you all create! Happy Stamping!

Hello Stampers! Today I had a little extra time to fill so I decided to create a page in My Digital Studio. I really love how it turned out. I think what I love the most is the little Lego bricks that make up the border on the bottom.

It was so quick and easy to do. The bricks are a piece of cardstock and then add on a little punched circles with a heavy black drop shadow. Leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Map It! Monday

Good Afternoon Stampers! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Time for the Map It! Monday design challange. This week we have a fairly simple layout.

Some ideas for alternative elements for you; try adding ribbon instead of faux stitching, add some background stamping or tear the border rather than punch it.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with so don't forget to send me an image.

Map It! Monday Challenge

Hello Stampers! No, you're not seeing things...it's Map It! Monday on Tuesday. I took the liberty of spending Labor Day with my family so I didn't get anything posted yesterday.

I hope you all had a great holiday weekend! I know I did. It is just a little sad though knowing it was also the end of summer. Of course that also means it's time to shift gears for the upcoming holiday season. That means a lot of fun times making cards and gifts for the holidays!! That's the best part, sharing what you love to do!

Okay. On to today's map. I am going to go back to basics in the way I make the maps. I'm going back to the what I originally started doing with just the basic map and neutral colors. I think I was throwing you all off a bit by showing you a completed sample. You never have to re-create exactly what I made to complete the challenge. I would like to see the masterpieces you make just using the layout on the map. So without further ado, here is today's map.

You can use what stamps and paper you have and different colors. The section that shows "stamped image" is just a layered piece. The sentiment piece is a punch. If you don't have a punch that will work there, then try using another layered piece in the shape of an oval, rectangle, etc. Some suggestions for the background pieces; you could use cardstock cut to that shape, designer series paper, or stamp a background image and cut it down to size. The little strips going across would be great in ribbon, designer series paper or cardstock. The possiblilities are endless!

I look forward to seeing what you create so don't forget to take a picture or a scan and email it to me.

Map It! Monday Challenge

Hello Stampers! Happy Monday! You know what that means right? It's time for the Map It! Monday design challenge. As usual, I have created this map in My Digital Studio. You will notice that it has many layers, but please don't let that scare you. It's a simple card.

Where the flowers are, use a punch of your choosing. Then some sort of embellishment in the center. Of course, use what stamps and paper that you have.

The color combination I used was Certainly Celery, Tangerine Tango and Melon Mambo. I love this color combination! I also layered a piece of Certainly Celery Designer Series Paper on top of the Certainly Celery Cardstock.

I look forward to seeing what you make. Be sure to scan or photograph your completed card and either email it to me or if you know my cell phone number you can text it to me.

Happy Stamping!

Hello Stampers! I wasn't sure I would get this posted today...our dishwasher sprung a leak and an entire wash cycle overflowed into our basement. My wonderful husband came to the rescue so all is well.

Below is today's Map It! Monday challenge. Once I again I created the map using My Digital Studio. I used Marina Mist cardstock. Once of my favorite new colors. The layer on the right side is Designer series paper in Pretty in Pink. The background stamp is Textured in Baja Breeze. I love how it looks white on the Marina Mist. I then used the Petal Pizzazz set stamping the leaves in Garden Green and the flower in Pretty in Pink. The ribbon is also in Garden Green and then I finished it off with two silver brads.

I can't wait to see what all of you come up with using this map! Remember the rules are simple. It doesn't have to be Stampin' Up! products, use what you have and just keep the same basic map.

Happy Stamping!
